Jennie Bedford Creative Beadworks, a division of Tusker International (Creative Works) Ltd., is a small, home-based business located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We specialize in making unique and custom fashion jewellery and accessories.
The two principals are Jennie Bedford and her husband, Doug Mason.
Jennie is the third generation in her family to be involved in the fashion industry. Although the majority of her working life has been in education, she has always been actively involved in arts, crafts, and interior decorating. She enjoys the challenge of working and experimenting with colours, textures, patterns, and designs to create new and exciting bead-woven fashion jewellery and accessories.
Doug is the second generation in his family to be involved in the fashion industry. Although the majority of his working life has been in the computer industry, he has always been actively involved in creating and designing – from models of houses, trains, planes, and automobiles to exquisite stained-glass panels and jewellery boxes. His engineering expertise and keen eye for design are evident in his beautiful, precise wire-wrap jewellery and accessories.
